This was one-sided and rough. The Jaguars were defeated in a big way and never recovered in their 2024 prime-time debut. The Buffalo Bills scored touchdowns on all five first-half possessions in a 47-10 victory in front of a raucous crowd on Monday Night Football at Highmark Stadium.
Quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and Josh Allen shined on Monday Night Football match as they led their teams to impressive victories to cap Week 3. Bills quarterback Josh Allen threw four touchdown passes in the first half and Buffalo scored on its first six possessions with the Jaguars never within double digits within the first quarter.
After the first quarter, Bills led 13-0 and 34-3 during the halftime. Bills outgained the Jaguars 140-19 during the first quarter and 288-70 in the first half.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence gained 21 of 38 passes for 178 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Bill’s safety Damar Hamlin, whose second-quarter interception marked Lawrence’s first turnover. This interception led to a Bills touchdown that gave them 24 24-point lead late during the first half.
Allen scored 23 of 30 passes for 263 yards with four touchdowns with no interception. The fans of Buffalo chanted “MVP, MVP, MVP” following multiple Bills second-quarter touchdowns.
The four-times defending AFC East Champions, The Bills, moved to 3-0. After finishing 9-8 each of the previous two seasons, the Jaguars are 0-3 with a road game against the AFC South-leading Houston Texans next Sunday.
The Jaguars didn’t register a takeaway Monday. They have not forced a turnover this season, 2024. Jaguars kicker Cam Little’s 41-yard goal with 10:39 remaining trimmed the Bills lead to 13-3 during the second quarter. This was the second drive of the Jaguars of the game. The Bills dominated the rest of the quarter.

The Jaguars drove to the Bills’ seven on the first drive during the fourth quarter, however, linebacker Von Miller sacked Lawrence on fourth-and-goal from the 17 to complete the threat.
Safety Darnell Savage and Evan Engram were among seven inactive Jaguars who played on Monday Night Football. Other inactive Jaguars on Monday were Rookie defensive, and Myles Cole, offensive lineman Cole Van Laren, and defensive Tackle Jordan.
Jacksonville Jaguars fans on social media were understandably incensed and threw their anger towards head coach Doug Pederson. The fans are demanding that he be relieved from his duty immediately.
