Ellie Goldstein and Chris Robshaw Shine in Strictly Come Dancing 2025

Ellie Goldstein, Chris Robshaw, and other celebrity contestants are making headlines as they join Strictly Come Dancing 2025. Ellie Goldstein, a British model, is known for breaking barriers. She is the first model with Down syndrome to appear on the cover of British Vogue. 

Now, Ellie is making history again as the first contestant with Down syndrome to compete in a full season of Strictly Come Dancing. She is 2023 years old and has a big personality that lights up the ballroom. Fans are excited to see her dance and cheer her on. 

Chris Robshaw, former England rugby captain, is also a contestant this year. Robshaw is a well-respected sports figure, known for leading England to a Six Nations Grand Slam in 2016. 

He retired from rugby in 2022 and said joining Strictly is “as far out of my comfort zone as it gets.” He is eager to bring his athletic skills to the dance floor and joked about using rugby moves in his Cha Cha Cha. His family is excited to support him during the show. 

Strictly Come Dancing 2025 features a diverse group of contestants from different fields. Harry Aikines Aryeetey, an Olympic sprinter known as Nitro from the TV show Gladiators, is part of the lineup. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, a former Chelsea footballer, steps into the spotlight as well. Dani Dyer, a television personality and Love Island winner, brings her buddy charm to the competition. 

The cast also includes actress Alex Kingston, known for her work in Doctor Who, and Balvider Sopal. recognised for her role on EastEnders. George Clarke, a popular YouTuber and podcaster, is joining the fun. La Voix, a drag queen who was a finalist on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, adds flair to the mix. 

Ellie Goldstein hopes to be partnered with dancer Nikita Kuzmin. She and the other contestants will compete from September to December on BBC One and iPlayer. 

This season will be the 23rd of Strictly Come Dancing. There are new safety and welfare measures after past controversies involving professional dancers. Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, and Anton Du Beke are all returning to the panel.

Fans are eager to see who will win the glitterball trophy this year. Ellie Goldstein’s participation is seen as an important step for inclusion. Her presence on the show is inspiring many and representing a change in the entertainment industry.
