MasterChef Host Gregg Wallace Future Uncertain Following Allegations and Personal Struggles

Gregg Wallace, the well-known host of BBC’s MasterChef, has recently stepped back from this role due to serious allegations of historical misconduct. The decision follows claims made by 13 individuals, including former BBC presenter Kristy Wark. 

She says Wallace told stories and Jokes of a “sexualized nature.” in front of contestants and crew.

Also added, “I think people were uncomfortable. We were essentially a captive audience. People looked embarrassed and just got on with their work.

I was more angry than anything else because I thought it was so inappropriate. And in a sense, what I thought was it was about power more than anything else, that he felt he could.”

Sir Rod Stewart also criticized Wallace for allegedly humiliating his wife, Penny Lancaster, during her appearance on Celebrity MasterChef in 2021, labelling him a “tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully” after she was reduced to tears onset. 

Following these allegations, Wallace announced his temporary departure from MasterChef while an investigation was conducted.

The production company Banjay UK stated that it is committed to a thorough and unbiased review of the claims.

Wallace expressed gratitude for the support he has received from fans but has denied any allegations, asserting that previous investigations cleared him of similar accusations in the past. 

Wallace’s Personal Life and Family

Wallace is married to Anne Marie Sterpini after meeting on Twitter in 2016. They have a son named Sid together. He also has two more children from previous relationships with his second wife, Denise.

He has faced challenges in his personal life, including multiple marriages, but Wallace remains committed to his family.
