Emmy Nominations 2025: ‘Severance’ Lead Nominations Full List

The Primetime Emmy Awards nominations for 2025 have been announced. There are only two months left to catch up on some of the most acclaimed shows. The 77th Emmy Awards nominations include shows like Severance, The Last of Us, Andor, The Penguin, and more, which are already listed as potential big winners this September.

The Apple TV+ series “Severance” was the most acclaimed, garnering 27 nominations, according to the Television Academy. In Severance, Adam Scott’s character, Marks, works for a corporation. The corporation implants a chip in its employees’ brains, so the employees forget about the external world while they are at their job. When employees are out of work, they have no memory of their job.

HBO Max’s “The Penguin” notching 27 nominations, ” The Studio”, streaming on Apple TV+ has 23 Emmy nominations, HBO Max’s “The White Lotus” notching 23 Emmy nominations, and Disney+’s “Andor garnering 14 Emmy nominations.

Some outstanding drama series for nomination include “The Diplomat”, “Paradise”, “The Pitt”, “Slow Horses”, and “The Last of Us”.

Some comedy series for the 2025 Emmy nomination include “The Bear”, “Nobody Wants This”, “What We Do in the Shadows”, “Shrinking”, “Hacks”, “Only murders in the Building”.

Outstanding limited series include “Black Mirror”, “Dying for Sex”, “Adolescence”, and “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story”.

The Primetime 2025 Emmy Awards can be watched on September 14. The show will be streaming on CBS and Paramount+. Severance and The Penguin lead 2025’s Emmy Award nominations, and the drama Adolescence has made an impressive showing.

Severance is up for the best drama series, and The Studio is up for the best comedy series.
