Robin Westman: Did the Minneapolis shooting suspect upload a manifesto to YouTube?

2 Mins read

Two children were killed and seventeen others were injured in a shooting at Annunciation catholic School in Minneapolis on Wednesday. Seventeen individuals were injured before the accused took his own life.

Though the authorities have not identified the actual shooter of the incident, Fox News and New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz suspected him as Robin Westman, citing sources.

A gunman opened fire through the windows of a Catholic Church in Minneapolis when the children were attending mass. It was during the children’s first week of school.

A video was posted by the suspected shooter on X just hours before the attack. The clip was showing someone flipping through what looks like a manifesto. The document includes schematic gun diagrams and diary entries written in both Russian and English.

Several other videos were reported uploaded on YouTube, showcasing an array of weapons, including a rifle and a shotgun. There are some disturbing messages, such as ‘for the children’ and ‘kill Donald Trump’.

According to the New York Post, some additional footage appears to show an obsession with mass shooters, including Sandy Hook gunman Adam Lanza.

The shooting in America impacted the entire nation of America, and the loss of young lives and the shooting in a sacred place has led to national sorrow. Hundreds gathered in the Twin Cities on Wednesday night to mourn the mass shooting.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brain O’ Hara declared that the attacker was armed with a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol. He approached the corner of the catholic Church and started firing dozens of rounds through the window. The Police Chief officer further added that the young victims killed in the attack were only 8 and 10 years old. The children were seated in the pews when the gunman started firing. Several victims, including the injured, were transferred to nearby hospitals. After the attack, the suspect took his own life.

The suspected shooter, 23 years old, died of a self-inflicted gunshot at the scene.

The attacker arrived on the premises with a vehicle, which the police have identified. Authorities are conducting further investigations to determine the cause of the attack. While it is not yet confirmed, they believe that one smoke bomb was used.

Annunciation Catholic School had 395 students, two days after the school year began.

Speaking on the attack, the US President, Donald Trump, took to X, “I have been fully briefed on the tragic shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota”. He further added that the FBI promptly responded, and they are on the scene. The White House continues to monitor this terrible situation. He requested everyone to join him in the prayer for the involved.
