Young Thug Denies Romantic Ties to Devin Haney’s Baby Mama After Leaked Jail Phone Call

2 Mins read

Discussions concerning Young Thug’s personal life have been triggered by the sudden resurfacing of his 2022 jail talks, even though the rapper is currently free.

In response to a recent issue involving Young Thug and the wife of a highly regarded boxer, Thug posted his first tweets in over a month.

The Atlanta rap artist seems to react to the rediscovered video of a conversation with Instagram beauty Lenna Sayed during her 2022 jail stint at Cobb County Corrections in a series of mysterious tweets he shared on Monday, December 23.

Learn Young Thug’s thoughts on the controversy surrounding him and a boxer’s wife.

Video

Thug was seen conversing with Instagram model Leena Sayed in the now-famous video, which went viral on Monday.

Sayed can be seen sobbing on the phone and telling Thug, “I only want you,” in the more than 14-minute footage that LawAndCrime has made public.

The Atlanta star seemed to be telling Sayed to “move on” from him during the call while he was dealing with his legal troubles.

Thug was seen to be emotional during the talk as he attempted to express his sentiments and opinions. Sayed eventually starts crying as she tells him how much she loves him.

“No one appeals to me… “I desire you,” she cried. Seemingly overtaken with emotion, Thug wipes his face and moves away from the camera.

Young Thug Responds

According to reports, Sayed wed boxer Devin Haney in 2023. When the video started making the rounds on various social media platforms, it created a stir.

Hours after the video went viral, Thug made a subtle response in which he appeared to both condemn and acknowledge the alleged relationship.

“Them n#ggas done showed they hands; them n#ggas ain’t in… #saytwin,” Young Thug wrote in the first tweet.

In a different tweet, he addressed their chat directly and clarified that many were misinterpreting the exchange’s context.

“Man, me and twin was talking about some whole other serious sh#t; I don’t know why she spoke on loving other people or anything else, cause ain giving no f#ck about no hoes or n#ggas. I’m the capital P, lol, that’s my twin and nothing else,” he wrote before adding, “Never have, never will, lol.”

This latest social media controversy follows Haney’s headline-grabbing remark this month, which sparked speculation among fans and detractors.

The post alluded to the lawsuit Haney brought against Ryan Garcia in September after the two of them fought earlier this year and there were allegations of PED misuse.

“I’m not going to no damn court… foh” Following reports that he had formally filed the 12-page case against Garcia in court earlier this month, Haney wrote.

At this point, two years have passed, and Sayed and Thug are leading independent lives. Sayed said that the call was recorded before she dated her baby daddy, Devin Haney when the video first came to light.

Since 2021, the 33-year-old has been loyal to singer Mariah The Scientist. Thug also spoke up when the jail videos were leaked. Nothing amorous had happened between him and Sayed, he insisted, and Sayed was merely a friend.

Thug is adamant about his position, but Devin Haney has not addressed the leak. Thug signed off in the final tweet, “I can have that lil s### right now if I wanted it, but she has been pushing the p harder than n##### lol that’s the twin… I got who I want.”
