Fans go crazy over the Leaked Glastonbury Poster 2025 as the official account responds

2 Mins read

Music lovers are still anticipating the release of the first line-up poster for the Glastonbury 2025 Festival, which is only a few months away. Many believe it has already been leaked.

Fans are going crazy on social media over what some are calling a “leaked” picture of the Glastonbury lineup 2025 poster.

The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo are listed as the main acts, along with Neil Young and Sir Rod Stewart, according to the post, which was shared in a Glastonbury Facebook group. On Wednesday night, Glastonbury’s official Instagram account released a teaser image, which coincided with the unconfirmed post.

The Glastonbury Festival account shared a little video of a phoenix emerging from flames with its 905,000 followers. The image is much the same as the one in the background of the leaked line-up poster that is making the rounds on social media. The update has been interpreted by many fans as a guarantee that an official announcement will be made tomorrow.

Fans are anxiously awaiting the first line-up poster for the Somerset festival, which is quickly approaching. There is a rumour that it could be released as early as Thursday morning. There is still a lot of conjecture about which bands festival-goers will see live after the crazy ticket rush in November cost them around £400.

One fan couldn’t contain their excitement and posted on Wednesday night on X, the social network that was once known as Twitter: “Glastonbury line-up rumoured to be coming out 8 a.m. tomorrow I am NOT gonna get any sleep tonight.”

Meanwhile, spoof line-up poster mock-ups with a March 6 at 8:00 am release time stamped with a false BBC watermark have been all over Reddit. These phoney posters feature popular artists like Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Pulp, Doechii, and Biffy Clyro, despite the strange mistake that reads “The Selector” rather than “The Selecter.”

One Reddit user who implied that they had the inside scoop responded when asked to confirm the line-up news. “Nothing confirmed but I’ve been told by someone likely to know, so I’d be surprised if they’re wrong.”

Worthy Farm in Somerset will host the much-anticipated Glastonbury Festival again from June 25 to 29. Neil Young, 79, will be the main act, while Sir Rod Stewart, 80, will fill the “legend” position, albeit the whole lineup has not yet been revealed.

The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo, 22, are reportedly the other two weekend headliners that organisers have secured. It is hoped that Olivia and The 1975, led by Matty Healy, will attract a younger audience to balance out Neil Young’s performance’s anticipated older audience.

A source revealed to the Daily Mail: “Everyone is pretty pleased with this year’s line-up now.” The source went on to explain that there were initial concerns that the festival might be perceived as catering too much to an older audience, given the previously announced headliners. However, with the addition of The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo, the festival is expected to appeal to a broader age range.”

The source added: “Both The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo are massive names who appeal to a much younger audience, so the hope is that Glastonbury will appeal to the youngsters this year as well as those who might want to see Neil or Rod.”

The 1975 and Olivia have performed on the Glastonbury stage before, having been in the lineup in previous years. They are now rumoured to be one of the festival’s main acts this year.

The 1975 are reportedly scheduled to play on Friday night at the Pyramid Stage. Olivia, who has long been rumoured to be performing at this year’s festival, is expected to close up the weekend by taking centre stage on Sunday night. Neil, meanwhile, is thought to be the main attraction at Glastonbury on Saturday.
