The former Baywatch actress and David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, Pamela Bach, passed away at the age of 62. Bach committed suicide, and the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office reported that she was discovered at her Hollywood Hills home on March 5.

The actress was discovered dead on Wednesday, March 5, at her Los Angeles residence. Her age was sixty-two. According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner, the cause of death was determined to be suicide from a gunshot wound to the head.

The two got married in 1989 after she met Hasselhoff while working with him on the set of the television show Knight Rider. She later co-starred with him on the television drama Baywatch, a lifeguard series, until their 2006 divorce.

Bach started performing in the 1970s after being born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has two daughters with Hasselhoff. Her acting accomplishments include Superboy, Viper, T.J. Hooker, Cheers, The Fall Guy, and the soap opera The Young and the Restless.

Hayley Amber Hasselhoff, her daughter, reportedly paid homage to her mother by sharing a picture of her parents on Instagram with a white star. Bach said that she was thrilled to welcome 2025 in her final Instagram post, which was posted on New Year’s Eve.

Watching London, her granddaughter, “grow and seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing,” she added, was another reason she was thrilled.

May 2025 be filled with beautiful moments, laughter, and all the blessings your hearts can hold,” she continued.

Here’s to a year of making cherished memories, spreading joy, and embracing every precious moment!”

Bach’s representative, Sharon Kelly, told TMZ she was shocked by her death.

My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters and granddaughter who Pamela constantly gushes about and loves so dearly,” she said.

After her passing, two daughters recall Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff as a proud mother. TMZ was the first to break the news, stating that her family went to check on her after not hearing from her.

Pamela’s agent, Sharon Kelly, told PEOPLE in a statement that she was a “force of nature” who will be “truly missed.”

Regarding Pamela’s kids, Taylor and Hayley, Kelly remarked, “She frequently expressed her pride in both of them and what they have grown into.” The late actress and her ex-husband, David Hasselhoff, have two daughters: Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32. The ex-couple’s marriage lasted from 1989 till 2006.

Regarding her client, Kelly stated, “Pamela was a proud mama.” “My thoughts and prayers are with her family, especially her lovely daughters and granddaughter.”

In August 2024, Taylor and her spouse, Madison Fiore, welcomed their first child, a girl named London. “Pamela loves so much and gushes about [her granddaughter] all the time,” Kelly told PEOPLE.

Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” David said in a statement his representative shared with PEOPLE Thursday. “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

Taylor and Hayley have not discussed the news of their mother’s passing in public. Nevertheless, Hayley posted a 1996 picture of her parents to her Instagram Stories.
