John Krasinski has expressed wife Emily Blunt’s reaction after he was named 2024 Sexiest Man Alive.

The actor, writer, and director, John Krasinski, whose credits include the US version of The Office, Fack Ryan, and The Quiet Place, was given the title “2024 Sexiest Man Alive”.

The 45-year-old actor, Krasinski, was named the most desirable man of the year. He has taken the baton from the former Grey’s Anatomy actor Patrick Dempsey, who won the title in 2023. Krasinski became quite consumed after hearing the news.

Sexiest Man Alive

Speaking to People about the announcement, he said he experienced an immediate blackout. He added that he had zero thoughts…” Other than maybe I’m being punked”.

He continued that that was not how he woke up thinking, “Is this the day that I’ll be asked to be Sexiest Man Alive?” He added that however, it was the day that people did it for him. He said that people have raised the bar for him.

Krasinski also shared how his wife, Emily Blunt has responded to telling the news to her husband. The actor has two children with his wife and has been married for fourteen years.

According to Krasinski, there was a lot of joy involved in telling, and she was very excited. The Quiet Place actor said that Blunt even quipped that she would print off the cover and use that as wallpaper.

“Do we have that on camera? Because that’s like a binding contract, I think”, it was Emily Blunt’s husband’s response to his wife. He added that his children would love that, it wouldn’t be weird at all.

The IF star went on to praise his wife. He added that it is such a beautiful thing that when you are married to someone, you are constantly learning, changing, and evolving.

He said that he is so lucky to have gone through all that with his wife. He added that he has built a life with his wife, Blunt.

Blunt and Krasinski first met in 2008 and got married two years later from their first meeting. The couple has welcomed two daughters, Hazel- 10, and Violet.

He thinks his new title does not mean things will change at home. Krasinski said, “I think it’s going to make me do more household chores”.

However, during the interview, Krasinski added, “You guys have raised the bar for me”.
