Superman Legacy: Leaser Trailer Puts Guy Gardner in the Spotlight

2 Mins read

Warner Bros. just dropped the first teaser of Superman Legacy 2025 and the fans have already lost it! Their excitement is at its peak.

Bringing a fresh and exciting take on the DC universe James Guns has bought David Corenswet as the new Superman, but it’s Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner, aka Green Lantern, that’s stealing the spot-light for good reason.

In the Trailer, there is a claim of some iconic DC character, but Nathon Fillion’s portrayal of Guy Gardner is the real talk of the town.

Sporting a bold unapologetic Bowl-cut hairdo, Fillion’s Guy Gardner is every bit the “massive dork” fans know and love from the comics. And about the trailer, there is no doubt that the internet has thoughts.

One Reddit user wrote, “He looks like a massive dork. I love it.” Another chimed in, ” They really went for the goofy JLI/Super Buddies vibe, and I’m here for it.” Not everyone was sold, though.

Some of the fans felt that the bowl cut was actually a bit too much, suggesting that DC could have used a military cut as it would look better and suit Nathan Fillion’s personality. So either fans are loving or hating it but Guy Gardner’s look is making waves.

In the teaser, we see Guy Gardner arriving at Stagg Industries alongside Hawkgirl. Following the comic style in true Gardner fashion is not exactly stable then blasting a window with his Green Lantern ring to either block the outlookers or just to scare them off.

His short but impactful moment already Hints at the chaotic energy we can expect from his character.

Known for his self-confident personality and tendency to engage in conflict with everyone, Guy Gardner has always been the wild card of the Green Lantern Corps. Unlike Hal Jordan or John Stewart, Guy’s swagger, sleeveless green jacket, and over-the-top attitude make him stand out in any lineup.

The next thing we can’t avoid about the Superman Trailer 2025 is that while Guy Gardner may stand out in the teaser the real star is Superman himself.

Played by David Corenswet the new star promises a good blend of classic heroism with a fresh perspective. Now we have to see how the fans are taking the new changes after seeing the movie.

There is no doubt that Superman: Legacy is shaping up to the DC universe in a new way but till then we have to wait for the movie patiently.
